I'm very excited to announce my upcoming Data Academy!
At Dept, we wanted to try something new, so we came up with the concept of a small academy video series - for free! Please note, that this academy is in German.
The academy is quite a different format from what we do usually at Dept, and my personal first-ever "course" if you will 🤓 All videos are produced by me, but thankfully the creative teams spared some time to help. Looking forward to launch this with my marketing colleagues at Dept.
Here's a preview of what it will look like:
I didn't have too much time for anything else this week, so there's no new YouTube video unfortunately, as the academy was a major effort to produce and set up marketing-wise.
This first academy is a beginner-level course about "Data & Analytics in Marketing".
When you sign up, you'll get one video per day for the next five days. It's roughly one hour of video material in total. This way, you'll hopefully find time to watch even in a busy schedule.
We'll talk about customers, good vs. bad KPIs, data-driven marketing use cases, dashboards, and more.
If things go well, we plan to do other academy courses in the future.
Public sign up is still closed, but just drop me a line and I will make sure to already sign up you up behind the scenes. The launch date is scheduled to be in the next two weeks.
Let me know what you think 💯 Happy to see you in the academy!
Cheers,
Chris

Unfortunately, no new YouTube video this week, as I focused entirely on the Dept Data Academy. Meanwhile, if you haven't watched my YouTube series on 10 BIG mistakes in data projects, give it a go:
